Terms of Service
Updated: 29 September 2026
1. Service and provider
Poesie is an Android app for writing, organising, storing and exporting poems, developed by Edoardo Stoffa. Contact: [email protected]. These terms cover the app and its features; the Privacy Policy separately explains data processing.
2. Using the app
The app is not intended for children under 14. If you lack legal capacity to enter a contract or make a purchase, parental or guardian authorisation is required. You may use the app on compatible devices for lawful purposes. You must not infringe others’ rights, bypass purchase protections or disrupt the service. Activities that the law does not allow to be prohibited remain permitted.
3. Your work and licence
You retain the rights to your texts and uploaded images. You must have the rights needed to use and share them. The developer acquires no right to publish or exploit your poems. The software, brand and original app elements belong to their respective owners. Premium does not transfer ownership of the software.
4. Storage, security and backups
Sync depends on your chosen cloud service, its terms and your connection. Keep credentials and recovery codes safe and check backups and exports regularly. In local-only mode, uninstalling the app or losing your device may erase texts without a backup. App locking does not automatically protect files already exported or shared. These precautions do not limit the developer’s legal obligations.
5. Premium and payments
Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Price, taxes and included features are shown in the app and Google Play purchase screen before confirmation. Google Play handles payments. To restore a purchase, use the same Google account and the in-app restore feature. Refund requests follow Google Play procedures without affecting statutory rights. The right of withdrawal is not generally excluded: its loss for digital content requires the conditions and consents prescribed by law.
6. Warranties and liability
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected, including remedies for non-conforming digital content or services. Liability that cannot legally be limited, and liability for intentional wrongdoing or gross negligence, is not excluded. Compatibility and availability may depend on Android and external providers; the developer must still meet applicable obligations. Contact support about faults or lost access.
7. Updates, ending use and disputes
You may stop using the app at any time; export content you wish to keep first. Local deletion does not necessarily remove cloud copies or shared files. Material changes to these terms will be appropriately communicated before taking effect where required, and will not retroactively reduce acquired rights. Mandatory protections and consumer jurisdiction rules remain applicable. For support or complaints: [email protected].
